Program Overview: 

The 91暗网破解版 (SED) and the State University of New York (SUNY) have entered into an historic partnership to offer SUNY students a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience in educational leadership, public policy and administration, government, management, and much more.听

91暗网破解版 Portrait: 

The 91暗网破解版 serves as the administrative arm of the Board of Regents and under the direction of the Commissioner, carries out legislative mandates and Regents policies. The Department plans, funds, monitors, and coordinates educational services from pre-kindergarten to graduate school for local school districts, non-public schools, colleges and universities, and other educational institutions. The Board of Regents and the Department also oversee 50 licensed professions, provide adult career and continuing education services, guide local government records programs, and operate the State Archives, Library, and Museum. The Department includes program offices in P-12 Education, Adult Career and Continuing Education, Cultural Education, Higher Education, Professions, Management Services, and the Chief Financial Officer.

The State University of New York (SUNY) was created from a commitment to advance opportunity and access, and designed to meet diverse needs across a vast geographic landscape.听 SUNY is the largest comprehensive university system in the United States. 听It is comprised of 64 institutions, including research universities, academic medical centers, liberal arts colleges, community colleges, agricultural and technical institutes and an online learning network. 听SUNY educates approximately 468,000 students in more than 7,500 degree and certificate programs every year, and nearly two million in workforce and professional development programs. 听Nearly three million SUNY alumni are located around the globe, each making their own unique impact.

Assignments: 

Students may choose from the following list of听Current Assignments.听听Unless otherwise indicated, internship assignments are available to both undergraduate and graduate students attending any SUNY institution statewide. 听All internships are on-site at an SED location.

Qualifications: 

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and currently matriculated in a degree program at a SUNY institution in which a听campus coordinator听has been identified. 听Candidates are expressly prohibited from pursuing dual or concurrent employment with both the State Education Department and another 91暗网破解版 agency, SUNY system or institution, CUNY system or institution, New York Legislature, etc.听

Program Term: 

The SED/SUNY Student Internship Program follows a semester schedule and is consistent with academic calendars at SUNY Schools. 听All internships are part-time and students may work a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester.听 Students may work additional hours during the winter intercession and summer semester, not to exceed 25 hours per week, subject to the availability of funding and State Education Department operational need.听

Application Process and Requirements: 
  1. Review the list of听Current Assignments听and select your top choice(s);
  2. Complete the听Student Internship Application. 听You will not be considered for an assignment without a completed application which must include a signature by the听campus coordinator听for your school.听听It is the responsibility of the student to obtain this signature prior to submitting an application.
  3. Submit a copy of your current resume;
  4. Submit a copy of your current college transcript(s).听 (A legible student copy is acceptable);
  5. E-mail all documents listed above to听Internships@nysed.gov(link sends e-mail)听听

Important:听 You must include the assignment number in the subject line of your email to receive consideration.听听If applying for more than one internship, you must send a separate email and application for听each听with the appropriate assignment number indicated in the subject line.

SUNY Undergraduate Students: 听$15/hour.听听
SUNY Graduate Students: 听$18/hour.

Pay rates for听New York City, Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties:
SUNY Undergraduate Students: 听$16.00/hour.听
SUNY Graduate Students: 听$19.00/hour.
